Come build the tool we all wanted

We are a small team of designers and engineers who got tired of fighting our own slides. If a fixed-ratio artboard and a twelve-beat argument sound like your kind of problem, we would like to hear from you.

What it is like

Four things we will not trade away

The parts of how we work that we would defend even when it costs us.

Remote, properly

Not remote-tolerated. The whole team is distributed, so decisions get written down rather than decided in a room you were not in.

Small enough to matter

You will own a surface, not a ticket queue. The person who reads the support email is the person who fixes the thing.

Honest about the stage

We are early access and free, which means limited runway and real constraints. We would rather you know that before you apply.

Few meetings, more craft

One weekly sync. The rest is written. If you do your best work in long uninterrupted stretches, you will like it here.

Open roles

Four seats, all remote

Every role here is one we would hire for today. If none of them fit but you think you should be here, say so, the last line of this page is not a formality.

Senior Frontend Engineer, Canvas

EngineeringRemote

Own the artboard, hit testing, snapping, layering, undo. If you have opinions about pointer events and transform maths, this is the one.

Applied AI Engineer

EngineeringRemote

Drafting, density and preserve mode. Making a model produce a structured argument reliably, and knowing when it has not.

Apply

Product Designer, Editor

DesignRemote

The editor surface: properties panels that stay out of the way, and defaults good enough that most people never open them.

Apply

Template & Content Designer

DesignRemote

Build the layouts and themes. 47 layouts and 12 themes today, and every one of them should make a mediocre deck look considered.

Hiring

Four steps, and we pay for the hard one

No take-home you work on for free, no six-round gauntlet, no ghosting. You will hear back either way.

  1. 01

    You write to us

A short note and something you have built. No cover letter theatre.

  2. 02

    A conversation

45 minutes on what you want to work on and what we are actually building.

  3. 03

    A paid exercise

A real, scoped problem from our backlog. Paid at your day rate, always.

  4. 04

    Meet the team

Talk to the people you would work beside. Then a decision within a week.

No role that fits?

Write to us anyway. Tell us what you would want to own and why this is the product you want to own it in, we read all of them.
